What a sunny, beautiful, warm Good Friday today was, complete with farm fresh eggs, open windows and Easter preparations. We took out the spring table cloths and tucked away our plaid dish towels for white linen ones. The flannel sheets were replaced with floral cotton and the house felt invigorated again.
Easter weekend always brings about a sense of renewal, but tonight, on Good Friday eve, we will pray and give thanks for all that has been sacrificed for us. I hope that your holy Friday (and your Easter weekend) is filled with many blessings, and many, many eggs – chocolate and the like!
with grace and salt, kirsten
