An Easter Tablescape

Easter is at the top of my favorite holiday list. I love the smell in the wet air, the pretty floral dresses, the reintroduction of white shoes, the blossoming of daffodils. The entire world seems filled with rebirth. and chocolate.

Easter Means Taking out the Dish Collection

Most of all, Easter is full of pastels, so I get the opportunity to take out my pink depression glass and jadeite collections. For years, before I even owned a home, I scoured antique stores and flea markets for depression glass. It was so bad that I filled a storage unit. If I get brave enough, I’ll share the pictures with you from the day we unpacked it (hoarder warning) and tell you a bit more about what I look for.

On the Dining Room

I’m cheating a bit by showing you the dining room after pictures – without giving you the pleasure of seeing how gross it was before!! But I’ll link it here when I post them in the home tour section.

Product links below:

My table is the Avery from Ethan Allen in the color Pumice. The chandelier and the chest are also from Ethan Allen but sadly the chandelier is old and discontinued. Its still one of my favorite pieces in the entire house! I originally bought the Julian Chest for my bedroom, but it doesn’t fit how I had imagined, so for now its serving as a sweet sideboard. Don’t you love the robins egg blue!?

I will do a before and after on the dining room chairs, which I bought from a local woman secondhand and had reupholstered. The pillows covers above are H&M (literally $6.99) and the inserts are Ikea. H&M Home has the absolute best pillow covers and the prices are unbeatable!

The glassware is all vintage and collected except the chargers which are Homegoods.

The table garland is none other than Hobby Lobby(favorite guilty pleasure). I could spend hours in there looking at faux greenery.

The tray is hand made and sold at Magnolia Market. My mother and my sister-in-law have it also and each one is unique. I use it in every room of the house! I love how big and versatile it is, and the soft gray color reminds me of driftwood.

I’ve talked about this bunny pillow before but I can’t get enough of it! Its from Target outdoor collection and they still have some left on their website + 15% off. RUN!
